Directions to the Finger Lakes Institute and Seneca Room

Free public parking is available along South Main St. (Rt. 14) Additional parking is available in the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Medbery Lot located on Pulteney Street across from the Scandling Center. Please visit the HWS Campus Safety office for a visitor's permit. HWS campus map

The Finger Lakes Institute's Seneca Room is located two doors down south of the Finger Lakes Institute building.

From the North:

1. Take NYS Route 14 south in to the city of Geneva.
   
   
2. Turn right on North street at 1st stoplight in town.
   
   
3. Cross RR tracks, Go straight through first stop light.
   
   
4. Take a left at second stoplight onto North Main Street.
   
   
5. Go straight through three (3) stoplights and past Downtown Geneva. NYS Route 14 will become South Main Street after 3rd light.
   
   601 South Main Street, the home of the Finger Lakes Institute, will be on the Seneca Lake (East or left) side of South Main Street, approx 1 mile after the last stop light, and just past the Routes 5&20 onramp

From the South:

1. Take NYS Route 14 North along beautiful Seneca Lake to the city of Geneva

2. As you enter the city of Geneva, NYS Route 14 will become South Main Street
   
   601 South Main Street, the home of the Finger Lakes Institute, will be on the Seneca Lake (East or right) side of South Main Street, just before the NYS Routes 5&20 onramp

From the East:

1. Take NY Routes 5&20 west in to the city of Geneva.

2. As you enter the city, you will go straight through two stop lights on Routes 5&20.

3. Past the second light, you will travel approx. 1 mile on an elevated overpass, past Seneca Lake on your left.

4. After 1 mile, you will pass under the NYS Route 14 overpass.

5. Immediately after the NYS Route 14 overpass, you will bear right onto the NYS Route 14 South onramp.Take a right on NYS Route 14 South (South Main Street).
   
   601 South Main Street, the home of the Finger Lakes Institute, will be on the Seneca Lake (East or left) side of South Main Street, approx 200 yards past the Routes 5&20 onramp.
   
   For Directions from the NYS Thruway, follow the directions for points North of Geneva. NYS Route 14 North intersects with the NYS Thruway (Exit 42) approx 7 miles north of the City of Geneva.

From the West:

1. Take NY Routes 5&20 east in to the city of Geneva.
2. As you enter the city, you will go straight through a series of 7 stop lights on Routes 5&20, traversing the business district of town.
3. Past the seventh light (Pulteney St. Intersection), you will bear right on to the NYS Route 14 south onramp.
   
   601 South Main Street, the home of the Finger Lakes Institute, will be on the Seneca Lake (East or left) side of South Main Street, directly across from the NYS Route 14 onramp.
   
   For Directions from the NYS Thruway, follow the directions for points north of Geneva. NYS Route 14 North intersects with the NYS Thruway (Exit 42) approx 7 miles north of the City of Geneva.
