2009 GIT Ahead Student Internships
2009 marks the third and final year that GIT Ahead is able to offer its popular summer internships to high school students who have completed their junior or senior years of study. Internships are paid positions ($7.25/hour), 40 hours per week for the months of July and August. Students will be placed in internships within a 30-minute distance of their homes, with organizations and agencies that use geospatial technologies as a major part of their work. This unique experience provides students with a glimpse into how GIT is a viable and exciting career option.
