Through the Finger Lakes Institute, the Colleges will co-sponsor a two-day discussion on how environmental issues are impacting our economy. Topics such as alternative energy, invasive species in our waters, tourism , and redeveloping brownfields will be discussed at "Unifying Economic Development and the Environment," Thursday, Sept. 27 and Friday the 28 at the Burgundy Basin Inn in Pittsford. Marion Balyszak, director of the Finger Lakes Institute, will be among those offering welcoming remarks; the featured speaker at lunch Thursday will be Sen. Michael F. Nozzolio L.H.D.
