Finger Lakes Institute invites the community to "Chill Out," and learn about campus solutions to global warming, beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16. The National Wildlife Federation's live broadcast will explain what colleges and universities across the country are doing to confront global warming, including increased energy efficiency, renewable energy, habitat restoration and awareness projects. A free broadcast, hosted locally at the Finger Lakes Institute, the evening will include a live panel discussion by climate scientists and conservation professionals who will take questions by phone from students, faculty and staff nation-wide. It will feature positive, practical solutions being implemented on campuses around the country. Last year's broadcast may be seen here.
