SOS Training Manual

The SOS Training Manual (PDF) is a great start for any investigation on Seneca Lake. A compilation of numerous data sampling techniques used by the Science on Seneca program aboard The William Scandling, our 65 foot research vessel.

Pre-Visit PowerPoint

The SOS Pre-Visit PowerPoint Presentation contains 23 slides that can be presented to students before their field trip. The presentation contains an overview of the day's activities, discussion of the parameters being collected aboard The William Scandling, as well as the geology of the area. Save the file to your computer to read the notes pages of the presentation.
